フロム・ニューヨーク州のイサカは、Samantha Linnという女性のソロ・ユニットでThe Arch Mystics。いやあ、当然だけど知らなかったなあ。これ、かなり良いです。ファウストがバックを務めたスラップ・ハッピーの『Sort Of』のようなスカスカ・ペナペナのゆるい感じとか、アンテナなんかを思い起こさせる、クレプスキュール的なイミテーション・リゾートっぽい感じとか、あるいはLinda Perhacs的な、オーガニック・スピリチャルなアシッド感のあるサウンドに、ベッドルームぽい親近感でふわふわ乙女のウィスパー・ヴォーカルが乗ってくるのですよ。それで悪いわけないよね。素晴らしい。

2008年から2010年にかけて3作品を続けて発表ししていますが、その後はリリースが途絶えているのが残念。もう活動していないのでしょうか。この方もHPなど見つからなかったので詳細がよくわかりません。
